Lowrider Bikes History

A lowrider bicycle is a bicycle with highly personalized stylings inspired by lowrider cars. These bikes feature often a long and curved banana seat with a very high bar and Sissy upward sweeping handlebars known as apehangers. Lowrider bicycles first appeared in the 1960's in the United States. It was initiated by 'King Custom' George Barris that cars customized.
